Aussie Team Vying For Selection In 2012 Bakery World Cup

Brisbane baker Brett Noy will lead a three-man Australian Baking Team to Canton, China this May to take on the Pacific Asia region’s finest dough craftsmen in the Louis Lesaffre Cup international selection round for the 2012 Bakery World Cup.

Western Australia’s Trevor Sims and Robert Howard will join Brett Noy in the Aussie Baking Team to take on representatives from Japan, Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea and host nation China, fighting it out for a place in the 2012 Bakery World Cup, set to take place in Paris, France in March next year. Two teams from the Pacific Asia region will be chosen to compete in Paris, with a total of nine teams from around the globe taking part in the 2012 Bakery World Cup in the French capital.
